Beedrill won’t win but I want it too! :D

Looking at this post a couple years later makes me laugh.

Luxape. It proved itself at nationals and it has consistent matchups against the majority of the decks out there.
OR a semi-rogue deck that no one expects will win. One or the other I think. Gengar and Machamp are too easily played around, and beedrill, although ridiculously consistent in recovery, won’t do it against the infernapes and power locks running around. Palkia G doesn’t do well against luxray, but should top cut if things go well.
Luxray with manny and maybe gallade or golem or something to really compliment it. I don’t see anybody being surprised by luxape now, and infernape really isn’t that great of a card. I also see alot of palkia wrecking luxray…which sounds wierd but is true. :/

I’ve had a feeling for a few weeks now that Palkia/Luxray will win. I’ve never played the deck and I’ve no actual foundation for that argument, it’s just an intuition, I guess.
Although I’d love to see LuxApe or Beedrill win.

JMO – our current BDIF is DPL. It has a crazy amount of options and also gets the benefit of the SP support trainer line.

I’m hoping to see a rogue deck win. It will probably be something with Luxray though.

Luxray is too popular and too good, I believe some variant of Luxray is going to win.

Beedrill/lux was a great idea. I knew luxray was probably going to win worlds as well, but beedrill didn’t cross my mind. It has the room for it, but it just changes the deck around alot.

Was anyone else teching Luxray into a Beedrill deck? Nice to see that two of the original Pokemon (Beedrill and Gyarados) did so well.
