    I think I’ll just buy singles online…

…this set would fit perfectly after SF, and the format might seem balanced energy-damage wise if PL-SV weren’t released.

  2. Adam Capriola

Yeah why not! You can start it, just submit an article with what cards you pulled and a little bit of analysis. :)

Pokebeach has scans of almost every card in the set in English. I agree, there’s a lot of interesting new cards. Relicanth SV should have a field day against all of the new tools.

@Pokey: I saw that Salamence yesterday on Beach and was thinking the exact same thing…that would be insane if it could be pulled off.

Salamence is very nice and i hope that you can take 4 prizes if you defeat 2 pokemon with salamence. and i bet that many will play expert beld-> 5 prizes or if you are VERY lucky 6 prizes

I pulled some decent cards today myself. Salamence LV. X didn’t really impress me too much, though, but I am writing a deeper analysis on it since it seems like it will be a very popular card.

On another note, did anyone else notice that the Arceus are waaaaay too common to be SR’s? I know I pulled 2 out of my original 6 packs, myself, and another one out of the 2 extra at the end.

    I don’t understand how arceus is a SR either, I pulled 3. I also got a gengar lv.x
I don’t feel salemence will be good due to flygon, but we will see.

    Arceus isent a SR.
Im looking at playing some sorta of flygon Variant with Tomb. Its looking pretty good after practicing with it. So all i want from the set are some E-Belt and some tomb.

Hey Adam, I recently hunted down David Cohen’s stallgon list.(senior worlds 2nd) and was wondering if it would be good to do an article on. If you think it would be ok I will start working right away.

We do have a few Flygon articles already, but if you think his list is interesting or different then sure go ahead. :)

Oh and as far as comboing Flygon w/ Spiritomb, Spiritomb is just used early game to evolve all your Pokemon and prevent your opponent from using Trainers. It’s not really a combo but in theory seems like it would work well.

If all the Arceus were secret rares it would be very expensive to make a deck with them…

His list isn’t that interesting or dif. from any other lock varients. How about I do Steven Silvestro’s Raybee’s, I havn’t seen beedrill to much.

Arceus Prerelease was great for me and my two brothers. Between the 3 of us playing in the prerelease and our box we got 19 Expert Belt and 6 Spiritomb, along with Tangrowth X, Salamence X and 3 Arceus X (2 Meteor Blast, 1 Psychic Bolt)

Salamence looks very promising and I think that is what I am going to work with for the first couple of cities

I like the Curse Gengar and Gengar X in this set as it can make Gengar different. It will be interesting to see how people will play Gengar.

Tangrowth looks pretty interesting, giving more HP, Energy Accel and a Healing power.

Arceus looks nice but…I just feel like it’s trying to be an SP pokemon, and SP’s do it better. Perhaps someone will find a good enough list to make it competitive.

Overall this set will have a great impact on the format in my opinion

Cant wait, gonna try and pull salamance even though its pure luck. Is it worth making salamance deck i think it can be quite nasty.

You are in no way ready for trading. Money used to "trade" as opposed to "invest" should never be more than ten percent of your assets, and you should have at least $5,000 minimum to even consider trading.
