Hey guys, I don’t have much time to type this out (3 finals today, one tomorrow morning, gotta study!!), but I just want to give a quick update as far as the status of the forum.
Thanks so some VERY generous donors, we at pretty much at the goal! I will throw in the last bit of money and we will be able to get the basic forum package. You guys are so awesome. :)
I am fairly certain that the publishing suite has a bunch of extras that we don’t really need, but if anyone is obliged to this just let me know. If anyone wants to do more research, please go ahead. :)
I will start work on the board Wednesday afternoon. It should be up by that night.
I think I want to make the URL sizprizes.com/board in lieu of SixPrizes.com/forum or the plural or either one. Let me know what you guys think.
Ok well I’m out, please leave any comments or suggestions regard the board here so that I can take them into account when I work on it tomorrow. Thanks!
I think that you should choose /boards as the URL. It makes it more informal. The page sixprizes.com/forums should of course redirect to the right address.

Yeah, I think /forum is more universally recognizable (as far as 6p goes) haha.

I am holding off for the moment to purchase the software. I am asking around on some web development forums to see what they think, if it’s better to get just the forum or publishing suite software.
I just really don’t want to regret going one way or the other. I should even enough info by tonight or tomorrow at the latest and it will be underway…

Actually you know what I just realized? I never read anything on Pokegym’s front page, I always skip right to the forums. I am guessing a lot of you probably do the same thing…so much for agonizing over that hahah.
I always check the front page for new stuff, ’cause I don’t really follow the Gym forums… but I usually never get anything useful out of it. :P Except the Compendium updates, they’re good to know.
