Hey everyone,
I am starting to put the finishing touches on the SixPrizes Underground setup right now. It’s been a frustrating week or two trying to piece everything together, but it’s slowly taking shape.
(I was hoping to have been done with all of it last week… maybe I’ll finish this week?)
Anyway, as part of Underground, I’m going to be holding an affiliate program. I was originally only going to let only a couple people into the program, but I’ve now decided to open it up to everybody.
I’m guessing that most people don’t really know what an affiliate program is, so here’s a quick affiliate marketing guide for greenhorns:
What is an affiliate program?
People who market products will often recruit other people to help them promote their products. Instead of paying the helper (the affiliate) directly for their time, the affiliate is paid a commission for every lead or sale they generate.
How does the affiliate promote the products?
In the online realm of affiliate marketing, the affiliate is usually given special coded link. If somebody clicks the affiliate’s link, it will go to the homepage of the website or product they are promoting and seem like a regular link. The one difference is that a cookie will stored in the lead’s browser, and then if that user makes a purchase, it is credited to the affiliate and they receive a cut.
Why do people create affiliate programs? Aren’t they giving away money?
The reason people create affiliate programs is that they can only reach out to a limited number of people. The leads the affiliate generates are people whom the original person probably would have never gotten in the first place. So while they have to pay the affiliate for that lead, they will gladly do it.
That’s the basic gist of how it works. Here’s specifically how it will apply to SixPrizes Underground:
Basically what all this means is that if you promote SixPrizes (through a special link created just for you) and somebody you refer purchases a paid subscription, you will be compensated.
What makes this an especially juicy offer is that you will receive a recurring commission. Every month the person you refer stays subscribed, you will receive a cut.
(Most affiliate programs only pay you for the first payment… I’m going to be pretty generous and pay you for as long as they stay subscribed… even if it’s 50 years.)
I will be compensating you well for your promotional efforts. The affiliate rate is currently set at 20%. This 20% applies to any and all purchases made, now and into the future.
Payout will be made via PayPal on the 1st of every month after a 2 month holding period, to give time for refunds.
The way it works is that if you are approved, you will receive a special link to promote SixPrizes. When somebody clicks that link, a cookie will be stored in their browser. The cookie will expire in 10 years or if the user clears their cookies… whichever happens first.
If the user signs up for even just a free account, you will be credited. All future purchases that user makes will be credited to you and you will receive commission, whether or not the cookie is still in their browser. That user is yours forever once they sign up for a free account.
Yesterday I went through and approved everyone that has registered a free account to be an affiliate. All new registrants will be automatically approved to be an affiliate too.
If you view your membership information, you’ll see a new tab on the right that says “Affiliate Info“. You can view your affiliate links, monitor how many clicks and leads you’re getting, and also configure your payout information (I’m only doing payouts through PayPal right now).
If you don’t have a free account yet, register here. If it says your username is taken (and you can’t login or recover your password), create a new username, e-mail me, and I’ll merge your old account with the new one and give you the username you want.
While Underground hasn’t started yet, you can start promoting your affiliate links starting right now. Remember, once somebody registers a free account after clicking your link, they will be in the system under your name forever, and any purchases they make in the future will be credited to you, so you can start using the links today.

When you are in a not good position and have no money to move out from that point, you will require to receive the loans. Because it would help you unquestionably. I get sba loan every time I need and feel myself fine because of that.

I’m having some difficulty trying to load your blog. I have read it many times before and never gotten something like this, but now when I try to load something it just takes a little while (4-11 minutes ) and then just stops. I’ve tried with www or not. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
