Bio: I've been playing the Pokémon card game ever since it first came out, when I was about five years old, back during base set when there was an energy card in every booster pack, and boosters only cost $2 each. I stopped playing around Neo Discovery, mostly because that's when my mom stopped buying me cards and all my friends stopped playing, which made me a sad kid. Once the Arceus set came out, and at 18 years old, I was dragged into playing by someone else who just randomly decided to play again. I was there for the Heart Gold Soul Silver set release, and was then nagged into getting a deck that didn't include Fossil-set Aerodactyl. Now, at the great old age of 19, I play in tournaments (just don't expect great tales of my win streaks, they won't last long), and am putting my writing hobby to use by writing articles about cards and decks. What an obvious choice, when most people would somehow think to go into "real" journalism or novel writing.
