Bio: I’m a robotics software engineer and former game designer/design consultant. In the Pokémon community, I’ve always tried to push for improvements to the game as a whole, to make it more challenging as well as more accessible. I have only recently gotten back into the tournament scene, having focused more on other things in the past.

My tournament experience focuses more on helping other players tune and test decks, and doing metagame analysis. I also am very hard-bitten in the fight for more consistent judging and rulings in the Pokémon community. I simply dislike the attitude and tension of top-level competition; I did that in my childhood and would rather coach than play at my age.

Its tentacles tear off easily, but it isn’t alarmed when that happens—it knows they’ll grow back. It’s about as smart as a three-year-old. (Clobbopus)
