Bio: I’m a PokéDad with a son in Juniors and daughter in Masters. I’ve been a professional Environmental Scientist for 10+ years. Speedy is my old camp counselor nickname from The Pines in 1994. Started playing Pokémon VG in 2009 and Pokémon TCG in 2011. Notable TCG finishes include Top Cut in 2012 Texas State Championships, 4th Place in 2012 Spring Battleroads, two 2nd Place in 2012 Fall Battleroads, and one 3rd Place in 2012-2013 City Championship.

The Development and Progression of Landorus/Mewtwo/Garbodor “For me, the story of the Big Basics deck begins with the early part of the 2012-2013 season following the release of Dragons Exalted. The competitive scene was dealing with the rotation to Black & White-on, which meant I had lost my beloved CMT (Celebi Prime/Mewtwo-EX/Tornadus EPO) deck. In the aftermath, I had been playing a Zekrom-EX/Eelektrik NVI deck and having some success with several Top 4 finishes at Battle Roads tournaments. Other popular decks included Rayquaza-EX/Eelektrik NVI, Hydreigon DRX 97/Darkrai-EX, and Garchomp DRX 90/Altaria DRX.
