    The master's bracket:
    http://challonge.com/nats2013

    Notes of interest:
    There's a KlingKlang at 3rd seed!
    7 Blastoise.
    10 Plasma.
    4 Darkrai.
0 Gothitelle (Pending the unknowns being filled in.)
0 Garbodor (Pending the unknowns being filled in.)
    6 Unknown decks.

The big 4....are suddenly the big 3? If Klang takes the whole thing it's going to throw US nats on its head. There have been undercurrents on the web to not count Klang out..... all eyes are most certainly on that player.

What do you guys think of this bracket in progress? There will be a stream going of the games, but apparently no commentary, courtesy of "On The Bubble". From their facebook:

Canadian Nationals stream will be live at http://www.twitch.tv/onthebubble starting at around 8:30 AM EST tomorrow!

Unfortunately there will not be any commentary, but we'll be sure to commentate and upload the games within the next few days and weeks.

That tornadus is interesting and brb loling forever at the ray boar
  3. Doo2you

Doo2you Dunsparce is 5 (1.5m) feet long. Yea.

Nice to see my old friend Darkrai/Terrakion still makin' some Top Cuts.
    Also, Kyurem Rush!

I thought it was Rayquaza Eels, until I hovered over it. Wouldn't that be hilarious if it went against the Klingklang? XD

I don't know why, but I see Darkrai/Terrakion going all the way. For the known matchups, I see
    4 Plasma
    4 Blastoise
    1 Darkrai
    1 Klinklang
in Top 16. What is Tornadus anyways? Speed Tornadus PLF? If it is and has a good list, I see that beating Klinklang because it can pick off Klink very easily.
  6. Doo2you

Doo2you Dunsparce is 5 (1.5m) feet long. Yea.

I could be a mix of Tornadus's with other stuff (Garbo, standard Big Basics stuff, etc), a friend of mine uses it and does decently well (Juniors, but still)

Not too surprising that a Klinklang would make it through what seems to be a heavy Blastoise meta.

Canadian Nats isn't always the best guide to what will happen in the US though. That's not a criticism: they have their own meta and their own innovative deckbuilders.

The Absol deck seems to be the most interesting thing there.

No Entei decks this year... t'is a shame.

    KPiplup An Imposter

Any Goth was probably wiped out by all the Blastoise.

Can't see the Darkrai/Terrakion making it too far in a meta of Stoise, unfortunately.

The bracket has updated with the majority of the T16.

Of the 7 Blastoise entered, 5 are still in. Klingklang moves on; RayBoar does not. X)

Seems to be an issue with the stream. It cut out during T32 and hasn't returned.

No-one here is going to be able to answer that question.

I don't get the love for Klinklang.

Not a new or interesting deck, but a good meta call with all the Blastoise.

I just want to see how he plays it. Like techwise.

As a Blastoise player, Klinklang frightens me. X) But what is more noticeable now that the full T32 is filled in... No goth! No garbodor! It's all Plasma, Darkrai, Blastoise. 4 of the 32 were outliers; Klinklang, Rayboar, Absol, Tornadus. Of those 4, only Klinklang advanced to T16.

Of note, there's only 2 Darkrai in T16; it's possible that T8 will be all Blastoise / Plasma.
Crazy, crazy bracket.[DOUBLEPOST=1372001382][/DOUBLEPOST]Woosh, that's the sound of many turtles dodging a silver bullet. Klinklang is done at T16; It's all big 3 from here.
