So attending multiple leagues would have no effect, then?
I thought you got a point for each League you attended.
If you guys want, I can start up a league thread again. We'll have to re-figure out the times and stuff, though.
Well, just got off the phone with my boss. May have dodged a bullet here. I've got the days off to hit Yveltal League Season, Chesnaught League Season, a sanctioned non-premier tournament, and now both League Challenges which should fall under the "premier, 1 point" limiter. That -should- net me my remaining 5 points. Just barely. =x
Did you actually explain to your boss that you needed time off for 'Chesnaught season'?
Yes, actually. I explained to them during interviews that I was heavily involved with CCGs and that I might be needing a couple of weekends off during the summer. ((I work at a Subway in the tourist-town of Mariposa.)) They said they were fine with that and to keep them posted. They kept their promise after they hired me; I have Nationals weekend off with Worlds weekend just waiting on dates. I explained that I needed to go to Fresno on a couple Saturdays to finish out qualifying for Nationals and they were happy to oblige the day off. I had luckily been scheduled off for the 17th already so really they only needed to schedule me off for the 31st.
Everything should be ok now though; which reminds me, I need to call my friends I'm staying with over there.
That'd be great.
Chaos Cards* list Pyroar for 95p**.
Chaos Cards sell out of Pyroar 2 hrs later.
's ok, I got 6 of them.
*The major card retailer in the UK
**That's $1.60. T&T have them for $6.99
Some people have all the luck. I wonder how big a force Pyroar will turn out to be?
Dunno, but at 95p, it doesn't seem that much of a gamble.
Oh, definitely not. Certainly beats paying 20 bucks for the playset.
They appeared to count extra leagues for Player of the Year last year for whatever reason.
Ugggh I just played Pooka on his stream with Rayboar and he was playing Shiftry with no Ultra/Level Ball (He forgot) and I made a misplay that cost me the game. Expect that on Youtube.
UPDATE REVENGE IS SWEET!
How does that even happen?
What, me lose?
Virtually every game I've seen on the top cut, someone makes a catastophic misplay and hands the game to Pooka.
Are people intimidated when they play him, or something?
either that or they are unlucky...
Making misplays isn't unlucky, just bad.
The thing is, it gives people the impression that Mega Venusaur and Wailord decks are actually viable.
I meant that they make bad misplays, or get unlucky, and Pooka wins the game.
