Pre-register at http://www.1playerplace.com/signups?event=ECA2SRQWJXG8HU
To Pre-register you do need a Pokemon Player ID.
If you have one, but have forgotten it, please contact your league leader for assistance. If you have played in one of my events you may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have never had a Pokemon Player ID, you may get one online at pokemon.com. Follow these directions
i think you still need to get there before 9a even if you pre-registered, at least you don't have to wait in line.
I'm so pumped, only 5 more days until the long-awaited day! This will be my first regionals, so I'm really excited to see what it's like.
I'll be driving down from CT on Friday - anyone else from that area going?
how many rounds are there normally
@Adam Good luck! I would like to join, but too far away. I may be going to some winter regional though. Hope you guys win some dice!
i am most likely going[DOUBLEPOST=1382543274][/DOUBLEPOST]any idea what the venues like
how many people normally show up
all of the detials
This will be my first ever regionals myself so idk. I have been to 2 brs, 1 cities, 1 states. I'm looking forward to meeting most of u actually first then playing
Venue is a convention center. This place is good to go and get lunch (it is right nearby): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reading_Terminal_Market
Probably a couple hundred people will show up.
Also, it is customary to cosplay as your favorite Pokemon.
I have been to Philly on some business for work and can attest to this being a good place to get food.
There is also a really nice brewpub close to the convention center that has pretty good food for a sit down place that is open pretty late if you are looking to hang out after the tournament. They also have like darts and pool tables and stuff to just chill.
Yea...that won't be happening lol.
There is also a Magianos (sp) close by if you are into Italian food.
I too can attest to good food st this market. I dont live from from philly (about an hr, give or take) and used to go down there alot.
And i would have, but just now got unformed by Adam that these things happen at regionals. So for the next one, ill be more prepared
One of the Golden Rules of Pokemon: DON'T DRESS LIKE YOUR DECK*
*This was a serious piece of advice given by a senior in a PokeGym article.
i will not be in cosplay
i will wear a hat
Really?! Wow, never woulda guessed lol. Good thing imma be dressed in my packers attire!
plus i am to young to go in to a bar
If you are referring to the brew pub, its just a restaurant that has a micro brewery in it. Its totally ok for people underage to go there. And like I said they have pool tables and stuff to chill and stuff.
