I tried using a format with plasma badges and colress machines to power up my pokemon faster. I had some really great games but in the end I ended up 2 wins and 3 loses. But this is because I am a noob who just started playing and I believe there is still hope for plasma klang. I will someday find a way. Perhaps once new metal types like aegislash come out we will see a new format. But until then does anyone have any sugestions. I have also considered magnetic draw electrod in place of those expensive beaches.[DOUBLEPOST=1386643711][/DOUBLEPOST]
I agree but perhaps there can be a way around this with cards to counter those pokemons weaknesses. And G booster can always be stoped with a tool scrapper. Plus even with non- EX attackers we still have cobalion hitting hard. ALso baby cobalion with energy press from noble victories has been reprinted so he can now be played in format.

Would this deck work with Dusknoir BCR? You could spread damage, since the most you can ever do with this deck is 100 (steel bullet). Also, for my VirGen matches I have teched a Spiritomb LTR, which basically shuts them down.

To answer your question, yes. You could, in fact, play dusknoir in Klinklang, but I don't think that would make it particularly strong at the moment. The problem with this deck isn't the inability to do enough damage, its the inability to attach energy in a swift and reliable fashion. Particularly with crushing hammer in the format. It can turn an auto win into an auto loss because they can simply play hammer over and over and eventually youll run out of energy. As for Spiritomb LTR, it isn't necessary with this deck. You set up plasma klinklang and when they play g-booster you tool scrapper. If they triad, you play another tool scrapper and then you just win. I dont think its worth it at all to play the spiritomb.

Yeah, I know this deck has some (obvious) problems, but I still love the idea. Hammers and Garbodor DRX are mean! I see what you mean about Spiritomb LTR, but I still like to prevent the G-Booster from taking something down before I can get a scrapper out, especially since you need 3 energy to do any real damage, and setting up another attacker can be tricky.

here's a new idea instead of moving the engery how about moving the damage

    3 klingklnag

    2mr mime

    2/2 cabalion EX /cabalion LTR/other attackers

    14 pokemon

    2 pokecenter

    4 max potions

    4 rare candy

    2 hevay ball

    2 ultraball

    2 junipiter

    2 skyla

    1 computer search

    2 tool scrapper

    2 enegery switch

    2 super rod

    2 enegeyr retrival

    8 metal enegery

    4 blend WMLF

the split of the 2 is for hammer spam
    alexdemian and Monferno like this.
  6. HighShroomish

    HighShroomish Wreck-It Ralts

That's actually genius. Especially now with the rule changes. I would go 12 metal instead of 8/4, I don't know why you put the blends in in the first place, but dang, that's genius.
  7. stmlacek1

    stmlacek1 rouge specialist

the blend it there to hold against the hammer spam form darkrai attach a blend and the meatl usless but in other cases attach the metal and drifloon is pointless
  8. HighShroomish

    HighShroomish Wreck-It Ralts

But enhanced will just take off the special while it would be useless against all basic, so they would be stuck with crushing.
  9. stmlacek1

it is better to strait basic energy now that i think about it with special induced it giver more cards power drifltlimb and garchomp so it would be better to switch

I've been thinking of a build of this deck featuring Leavanny LTR to help with the Emboar matchup. Not tested. Don't know if it helps, but here is my current list.

    3 Klink DEX
    3 Klinklang PLS
    2 Cobalion EX
    3 Cobalion LTR
    1 Jirachi EX
    1 Sewaddle LTR
    1 Leavanny LTR

    4 N
    4 Professor Juniper
    3 Skyla
    2 Colress

    4 Rare Candy
    3 Ultra Ball
    1 Heavy Ball
    1 Level Ball
    2 Hypnotoxic Laser
    1 Float Stone
    2 Switch
    1 Escape Rope
    2 Tool Scrapper

have you noticed that the fairy-type pokemons are weak to steel?
also with the re-edition of rainbow there are more specials energies for righteous edge
i think that this deck would be at least more viable if the fairy decks sees some success
anyone has tested 1-1 drifiblim DRX as a tech?
    this is my list
    4 -1-3 Klinklang PLS
    3 Cobalion EX
    2 cobalion LTR
    1 Durant DRX

    4 Professor Juniper
    4 N
    3 Colress
    2 Skyla
    3 Rare Candy
    3 Ultra Ball
    2 level ball
    3 Pokemon Catcher
    2 Switch
    2 Float Stone
    2 Silver Bangle
    2 silver mirror
    2 Tool Scrapper
    1 pokemon center

    11 Metal Energy
Actually I have defeated a rayboar with this decklist!! (when he start with one exeggcute and none balls/supporters)
  12. PellOfTheTundra

    PellOfTheTundra Do you even LT-87

    -2 Silver Bangle
    +1 Super Rod
    +1 Pokémon Center
You don't need these, you need the recovery more.
    -2 Level Ball
    +2 Heavy Ball
There's a Klink and Klang that are searchable with Heavy Ball, so abuse that.
    -1 Durant DRX
    +1 Jirachi-EX
This is a small consistency booster that is protected with Plasma Steel and can also attack in a pinch, if you have no other options.
    -3 Pokémon Catcher
    +3 Muscle Band
You ignore all effects, weakness, and resistance with Cobalion. You do not need Catcher. However, you do need more damage, as 3 for 90 that can never hit for weakness isn't exactly super strong. Now, you can OHKO Suicunes with Steel Bullet with a Muscle Band.

    flamedstones2 New Member

:O you're right about the klink
but how in the hell could damage with steel bullet, a suicune?
also... i'd prefer durant: if i start with jirachi it could be terrible and 2 free prizes. durant means only 1 prize and could be used even if i start with it
so ok: -2 level +2 heavy -1bangle -1 colress -1 float stone +1 pokemon center +2 muscle band
  14. PellOfTheTundra

    PellOfTheTundra Do you even LT-87

Steel Bullet cuts through all effects, including Safeguard.
As for Durant, go ahead, but with no Beach, the lack of a Jirachi is going to hurt.

fair enough, but now there are too many "lugia's deck", even some tdk and vir/gen plays lugia as a tech... maybe cassius would help, not only for jirachi
... what do you think about the combination: pal-pad/random receiver?
i could play only 8 supporters and 4 random receiver, 2-4 pal pad

While pal pad is a good card (shuffle two supporters from discard to deck) we dont have it in this set. So Id save room for a different card for now

what do you mean? it wouldn't be edited in XY?
but it could be edited as a promo, right? (like in japan)

Go look on PokeBeach.com (don't shoot me yet) you will see the scans that are on the front page. Those are the only cards we are getting for XY.

but, again: it could be edited as a promo.... right?
changing of topic... have you tried to play registeel? what do you think about the new skarmory ex? could those pokemons work? i mean ... including DCE
i don't know if it would be competitive but i was thinking in the combination swellow/cobalion EX/team flare grunt
T.F.grunt comes with a clear disadvantage... you lose your supporter-per-turn
also replace the heavy ball for the level ball
but once you may set up this, the opponent has to deal with klinklang ability and the energy fall
VIR/GEN match up : genesect must use red signal to swellow or red signal to klinklang+g-booster -2 energy then you use cobalion to remove the plasma attached to genesect
DAR/GARB : "drive of" to garbodor and knock it with "steel bullet", or just use skarmory's "joust"
PLASMA: righteous edge + team flare grunt
BLASTOISE: well fu*k ehm i mean DAH ... catcher to...no err... mmm...frozen ci...nouuuuu...scrapper to ...tech shaymin? fast "drive of" to squirtle?..."desk flip" , hit the opponent and run ?
