  2. Shibumi

    Shibumi I can typing

Was there a typo or something? Top 8 doesn't get any packs, but lower rankings do. :/
  3. darkwings

darkwings Never give the monkey a gun

it may be a typo. i guess whoever gets top 8 will find out.

    coolestman22 Now Has Techron

Totally going this year. Helps that I got $500 towards it for T4ing this past Regionals.

It's too bad this is gonna be for the Ghetsis format.

I also question why 13th-16th gets 20 less CP's than 9th-12th. I do want the high seed to be rewarded, but what is that for?

I'd assume Top 8 would get a box, because it's sandwiched between two boxes for prizes.
  5. Gelatin

    Gelatin So soft and jiggly.

It's a shame that going to Worlds would actually be cheaper for me than going to Nats. I think I'd actually stand a chance at competing there than getting knocked out in my first match at the LCQ again.

Why does Hawaii have to be so far from everything else?
  6. blargh257

    blargh257 Is now Dedede.

Meh, Ghetsis. It's not game-breaking since it only disrupts item cards. Colress will be a big help anyway.
    And I don't think that's a typo, I'd take Worlds over a box in a heartbeat.

I hope to be going but I have to place well at Regs.
  7. coolestman22

    coolestman22 Now Has Techron

I do think it's a typo, why would you not give T8 Nats a box as well? Why?

Although yes, I would definitely rather get an invite.
  8. blargh257

    blargh257 Is now Dedede.

The invite makes up for it, the box for 9-12 is sort of a consolation prize.

I actually think the format will be great. Decks I see working include Blastoise (both normal and plasma-based,) Landorus/Tornadus/Hypnotoxic, Darkrai variants, and just general speed decks.
It's gonna be a wild ride.

I still think there will be a box for them. The box is definitely not a consolation prize.

Getting all of my items sent to the deck turn 1 is a big deal, thank you.

(Also agree that there is a box for T8...)

Let's not discuss the metagame, let's just figure out who's going and other non-metagame Nats related stuff.

And who made you a mod?

Well another thing I like about Ghetsis is it's a lot harder to donk without items. Could help Stage 2's out.

Anyway, back on intended topic, as I stated I will be lucky to go.
  14. superw8

    superw8 Did you?

If i top 4 Regionals i am definitely going, but I may go anyway.
  15. camoclone

    camoclone Tomorrow we strike...

Donk as win on the first turn? Your opponent can't play supporters on your turn therefore your items wouldn't be discarded.
  16. blargh257

    blargh257 Is now Dedede.

hmm... I think I phrased that wrong.
If the S2 deck goes first they can prevent their basics from being KO'd.
