Q. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
A. Yes! Your subscription can be switched, canceled, or reenabled at any time. If you upgrade, you will be immediately charged for the new plan, minus a credit for the unused time on your previous subscription. If you downgrade, you will be switched over to the new plan after your current subscription period ends.
Q. How do I add a friend to my subscription?
A. One of the cool things we let you do is share your subscription with a friend. To add a friend to an existing subscription, add their username to the “Shared Account” box on your account page.
Q. When will new articles be released?
A. Generally, there are 3–4 full-length Underground articles each week, with an additional shorter piece each Friday. Upcoming schedules can be viewed here.
Q. Do your articles apply to Juniors and Seniors?
A. We try to make our commentary applicable to all age divisions. Of our writers, Christopher, Alex, Xander, Mike, and Isaiah have earned some of their Worlds invitations in the younger age divisions, so we have resident expertise on succeeding in those environments.
Q. How long is each article?
A. A typical article is about 2,500 words. We’ve found this is a good length to cover important ground while not being too drawn-out or requiring authors to stretch for content.
Q. What topics are typically covered?
A. An Underground article could…
- talk about upcoming card releases
- profile the best decks for current competitive play
- analyze upcoming tournament metagames
- offer pro-tips on how to maximize your performance
…or include any combination of these focuses! We cover a broad range of topics areas in hopes of helping our subscribers elevate their game.
Q. Can I ask the authors questions?
A. Always! You can ask questions of the writers by forum private message, forum comment threads, or in the article’s comment section. (Specific authors might also offer other ways of communicating, too, but the aforementioned methods are valid for everyone.)
Q. How do I request a refund?
A. We know it sometimes doesn’t work out: If you want to request a refund for your subscription, you can do so within the first 30 days. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your account details.
Q. I’m subscribed to a plan different than the ones currently offered. How does pricing work in the future for me?
A. As long as you stay continuously subscribed, you can keep your old plan; the recurring price will not increase or decrease.
