Introducing the Nomadic Pokรฉmon, Drifblim BW64 and Absol ROS “First, letโs define the term โnomadโ: noยทmad หnลหmad/ noun noun: nomad; plural noun: nomads 1. A member of a people having no permanent abode, and who travel from place to place to find fresh pasture for their livestock. 2. A person who does not stay long in the same place; a wanderer. See? You get the idea. Decks that have solidified their place in the metagame have nothing to worry about. Yvetal-EX, M Rayquaza-EX ROS 76, or Primal Groudon-EX arenโt going anywhere. They stay where they are, and other Trainers/Pokemon come to them to create new decks. In a sense,…

The Guide to Zoroark-GX/Banette-GX/Garbodor GRI for Memphis “The deck takes on the standard Zoroark-GX archetype shell that’s seen in its other variants: Lycanroc-GX, Golisopod-GX, etc. Combining the Banette-GX and Garbodor line, we have a 3-3 line of Psychic attackers. This is usually enough to deal with any Psychic-weak threats, especially with the Rescue Stretcher. Banette-GX is the more important attacker in today’s metagame, which is why it’s a thicker line than Garbodor. It shores up the matchup that gives normal Zoroark-GX decks a hard time: Buzzwole/Shrine/X. Banette-GX is great because of its Fighting Resistance, Shady Move Ability, and easy access to OHKO damage with Shadow Chant. 2…
A Look at Blacephalon and Decidueye as Standard Moves Through Lost Thunder “Standard is made up of 3 different archetypes: Control/Walls, Attach energy and kill stuff, and Stage 2 Decks. Of these three categories, the “attach energy and kill stuff” archetype seems to be the most prominent right now. This category contains decks like Buzzwole/Ninetales, Blacephalon, and the odd Rayquaza. What do all of these decks have in common though? Well, they all lose to Zoroark/Decidueye/Ninetales. I have been toying with DeciTales recently, but I don’t really like it much. I recently encountered the attacking Steelix deck that saw success in Harrogate, and I was quite surprised at its strength. Granted I…
